What can I say - I got bored waiting for people to come back from the supermarket... also, one of the questions has no right answer - Spike and Dru came to town because they thought the Hellmouth could cure her, not for St. Vigeous! *sigh* I know far too much about the Buffy-verse. Ah, well, at least I seem to be in good company here! ::hugs flist::

BTW Elisi, was Spike's plan to kill Buffy on St. Vigius's Day something that came up after he and Dru arrived in Sunnydale for her cure? I've only seen School Hard twice, so I'm still shaky on that particular detail.

As far as I can tell, Spike and Dru came to Sunnydale to see if the Hellmouth could cure her. He found out that 'The Anointed One' had 'a Slayer-problem' and offered to kill her for him. The whole St. Vigeous thing was something 'The Anointed One' cared about - Spike couldn't be less interested.

i noticed in your info that you read the silmarillion, i did too!
i actually really enjoyed it, it was a bit stiff, but i loved getting all the elf history and legends
not many people bother 'cause it has a rep for being to difficult

The Silmarillion is hard work, but this is because it's so well done - you can tell Tolkien had spent a lifetime studying this kind of thing. And I love all the background history! The story of Beren and Luthien - now that would make a fantastic film! *sighs*

Generally when I get interested in something I want to know everything (otherwise, what's the point?) - my husband tends to call this obsessiveness, I like to think of it as being thorough! ;)

Oh, and I love Harry Potter too (re. your info), somehow I forgot to put that in my interests! ::runs off to do so::
