This was so interesting. People always talk about Riley as though he were a simple character, but I think it's his very simplicity, or at least the fact that he likes to see the world as simple that makes him interesting and sets him apart from other characters on the show. But you managed to make some really interesting points about Riley, Buffy, and Spike without making it about shipping preferences. So kudos.
