Oh John, NEVER CHANGE!

(Also, I defy anyone to blame Buffy for wanting a piece of that. The bow tie is totally undoing me btw...)

*flails*

I've never heard him sing before! He gave me chills! I want to see him on stage now./whines

He will be so good! I wish I could go, too. :-(

I've only ever seen him hamming it up as Captain Jack, so it's nice to see him in something else! Nice voice, too!

wow. very impressive!

um, when did Buffy want a piece of this? Although, if she did, I certainly can't blame her. I think i want a piece of that too and I have never yet seen his show.

It's a great fic-- an AU where "the Immortal" Buffy's dating in rome is really Jack. It's a hoot, and it makes so much sense!

Oh! Yeah, okay, I kind of knew about this. I haven't read any Buffy fic in a couple years and since i haven't seen Captain Jack I didn;t read this one either. I am just watching Chris Eccleston's Doctor. i am so behind the times! Only 3 eppies in so far. I have the rest though, so as soon as I have the time...

As long as you stay at lj, I can make it a plan to read your Capt Jack/Buffy fic when I get some of the DW watched. I know he shows up there and I know he does Torchwood. I have a line on seeing TW too, but not until I have seen a good bit of DW.

[identity profile] sevedra.livejournal.com 2009-08-09 06:47 am (UTC)(link)
that's all cool then. I plan to see all of TW and hopefully all of DW. I plan to stick around lj myself. I thought about leaving before, and did vacate for a long while, but I need the outlet, so I am here to stay. *shrug* LJ is where I get most of my socialization and all of my creative output and since I started keeping the "journal" part, especially about my past, it is very helpful to me.

(not always, because life is busy)

I can't even imagine how you can be busy with three kids and a husband! I mean, I have copiuos amounts of spare time and energy. That's why I get so much reading of fanfic done ;) I have classes starting again next Monday. I may never read for pleaure again at this rate!

I really wish I had the funds for a robot maid!

Good luck with restarting your studies! It is harder than anything for me. I have forgotten so much. Plus, my brain can't remember things the way it did when I was young. It is actually more difficult for me to retain the information now. *sobs* I want to be brilliant, but it just isn't happening.

I think you may have helped overload teh system-- it won't play for me!

It plays now! He really does rock that song. You can tell he's genuinely enjoying singing it!

Can't help lovin' that man! Seriously, I've never heard him sing that type of song before, but . . . wow!

Sunset Boulevard is one of my favorite musicals, but I've not listened to it for years because I reached my saturation point long ago. I saw it live when a touring company from the Broadway production came to Chicago once, and it was fantastic.

John Barrowman is pretty good. I've watched clips of him singing and performing from musicals on youtube before.
