Unveiled this morning. Hmmm. Yeah, I guess it's OK - it's certainly very Doctor-y. I'm kinda getting excited now, to be honest. New Doctor!

I really rather like it. That tweedy bowtie look reminds me of Harrison Ford's Indy as Academic look in "Raiders", which I adored. Matt Smith looks as if he can carry it off too. Yup, I'm detecting a glimmering of excitement here :)

My first thought was the Doctor as John Smith in 1913, which makes for neat continuity, although Harrison Ford is also a good parallel. :)

Mostly it struck me as very 'old' clothes (despite the boots), quite different from Ten's trendy style, which makes sense since they're trying to make a young man look 900. Good choice I think.

Yes, well he certainly does look more like The Doctor and less like something from a Tim Burton film. That's reassuring, at least.

I saw someone describe the look as absent-minded but genius professor, which I think might work rather well. :)
