I hadn't heard this news. How incredibly sad. And yet, even as somebody who knew no more about him than the character he played, he leaves me with wonderful memories.

HOLY...WHAT? Jeeze. That is incredibly sad. I loved his Lorne portrayal. Always thought his character was incredibly underrated as a whole. I do love that they include he was in 76 of the 110 episodes of Angel, since so few people actually ever realized it.

But 33! Jeeze. That just kinda breaks my heart.

And I just can't imagine AtS without him. He was always just *there*, usually dragged into things against his will, and yet trying his best to keep smiling.

It was an awful shock - I've not heard a single negative word about him, ever. All of fandom is in mourning I think.
