In other news Darcy and I went to see 'Watchmen' last night, and it impressed me hugely. I do not know the graphic novel at all, so didn't quite know what to expect apart from DARK STUFF, but (although the violence was occasionally so gruesome that I had to cover my eyes) I really, really liked it, and we both wanted to go re-watch it immediately, to catch all the stuff we missed first time round. I love smart movies that make me think!

And that is all, because it is late and I'm half-asleep.

Ohh, you really need to read the graphic novel. It is just so good and it make alot of stuff in the movie make more sense. In the Watchmen, you just don't get drawings, but articles, a biography, and even a comic withing a comic. I looked up the novel on Amazon Uk, and it seems they are having a big sale on it. It's it about 9.89 pounds on your side of the water. I paid about 20 bucks for mine. It's about 300-400 pages long, and you just get so much from the novel. I can read it over and over again and still pick new elements from the story. It is probably even darker than the movie, and does feature, sex, nudity, blood, gore etc.
So I would reccomend buying, borrowing, or stealing a copy.

Oops here is the link if you are intrested. Sorry I haven't been commenting as often, I been more of a lurker than anything else. I am hoping to see the Watchmen next week.

Oh yes I love the Watchmen. It was the second graphic novel I bought, and the one that started me to love Alan Moore comics so much. I also reccommend V for Vendetta.
