SNOW DAY!
Just popping out of hiatus v. briefly to say that WE HAS SNOW! This is remarkable because usually when the rest of England gets covered in white, *we* get three and a half snowflakes and they melt within half an hour. But we have lots of very proper snow now, and the kids were sent home at midday (and have tomorrow off too!) and the garden looks like a winterwonderland (complete with snow gentleman that Darcy built with the kids - it has a top hat, and a monocle, as well as carrot nose and coal buttons!).
Also, my parents arrived yesterday (and are staying for a week), so life is BUSY and full of people. Which is nice.
(Have actually got a fair bit of writing done, and my head is totally immersed in my 'Immortal' verse again, which is wonderful. The next chapter coming to you as soon as possible, promise!)

Yay! It's so lovely that people are excited! I swear I am writing as fast as I can (the next chapter is all written, I'm in the middle of editing), but between the children (3 of them), the housework and my parents' stay somehow finding time is difficult...
I'm rather sick of snow at this point in the season, but I'm glad someone can still enjoy it!
Oh I know that feeling! It's going away now (*crosses fingers*), but it was fun while it lasted. :)
