New Doctor...
Um.
::stares at screen::
Having never heard of him before, I'm not sure I actually have an opinion, suppose we'll have to wait and see what he does with the part. Although I still wish we had DT for another twenty years... *clings*
ETA: So, how long do you reckon it'll be before the first Jack/Eleven fics appear? ;)

He's actually a really good actor
I'm guessing he *has* to be if he got the part, but it's nice to have it confirmed.
And oh those shoes are *enormous*!

Well I'm a very positive person, really, and - to quote Shakespeare for a moment - 'I shall look to like, if looking liking moves'. (From memory, pardon any mangling.)

We will just have to see, I never thought I love DT either.
It does go on with what has been happening with the Doctor the older he is the younger his regeneration. From what I was reading on wikipedia it says he was born in Northhampton. So does that mean he would have a Northern accent like the Ninth Doctor ?
I was hoping myself for James Nesbitt. Oh well.

Oh I liked DT already, having seen him in Casanova, so was quite favourably disposed towards him. Didn't expect to love him quite as much as I do, though... *is a Ten fangirl 4eva*

Dunno. Guess we'll have to wait and see...

*I* wanted Dylan Moran - maybe next time?

You're nine hundred and six years old? And you don't look a day over
thirtytwenty-five...;-)

*grins* I actually - a few years ago - had a door-to-door salesman ask me if my mother was home... ;)

I'm officially scared to visit the Teaspoon now!
I have to say I'm a little bemused. I'd never heard of him either, and apparently he was in a movie (Ruby in the Smoke) that I actually kind of liked. I guess he just made no impression! Huh.

*laughs* (I don't have *time* to visit the Teaspoon, which might be a plus for once...) Although, from a writer's POV, I was of course very curious about Eleven since he'll feature in Not The Last... And now I have v. silly little scenes in my head of the Seeker (being around 200 and still in his first body) and Eleven, and people mistaking them for father and son... (the Seeker finds this hysterically funny, the Doctor not so much.)
I guess he just made no impression! Huh.
Well I'd never heard about him before, at all, so I suppose he's a blank slate for both of us! ;)

I'm actually a little surprised I haven't seen more post-JE Donna fics. There's been a ton of 10.2/Rose fics (which I've mostly enjoyed) but few Cannon-verse post JE fics. ::loves Donna sooo hard::
Though I have to say I enjoyed your 10.2/Rose fic enormously so if that's what you mean I'd love to see it too.

No scrambling of Donna's brain, since Donna won't be there at all. Neither will Rose for that matter. But the Doctor's heart still gets broken. Some things you can't change! ;)

I'm sure I've seen a few on the Teaspoon - but not as many as the Doctor/Rose ones. Guess you can't beat the romance...

No... although I have ANOTHER bunny where the Seeker ends up on Pete's world. *headdesk repeatedly* (This year I shall FINISH 'My Immortal' and then I shall FINISH 'Divided Destiny', and not until after that shall I write other stuff. *swears solemnly*)

And how much do I love the idea of Alex going to Pete's world? Hee!
Though of course carry on with the other stories; I'm addicted to 'My Immortal' in particular!

I'm sure I'll write it down properly at some point... (I've written an outline already, so as not to forget anything). And it's rather good, even though I say so myself (and I'm not really a fan of re-writes myself, so it's a little ironic.)

Now that story is FUN! *g*

I shall have to go on hiatus I think, or I'll still be writing it this time next year... (Divided Destiny is the sequel to Maybe Someday and it is EPIC! Woe.)

I know who the new Doctor is. (Well, not in the sense of ever having heard of him before, but I know his name. (Not the Doctor's name, obviously, but the name of the actor portraying him. (Meaning the actor who will be portraying him. Knowing the name of the actor who's currently portraying him isn't that big a deal.)))
I'll start over.
I know who the new Doctor is.
My gf, who's a bigger Who fan than me, has vowed to stay unspoiled.
I'll simply have to hire some complete stranger to spoil her, or my head will explode.

FOR A YEAR?????? That is unpossible!

Not at all! :) (And sorry about being so slow to reply - my husband decided to monopolise the computer...)
