Hello I'm back... and a meme.

Well, it's all finished and over. Parents have gone to the station, Darcy to work and children to school and there's only little me left in the house... ::dances::

It all went really well - my parents had a lovely time, the children were happy, the weather was mostly good. My mother managed to annoy me in all the usual ways, but I'm used to it. (I will not be writing about it since it would bore me - and all of you - and take up time that could be spent on more productive things). She did comment at one point though that I didn't seem to have a lot of friends (not really a social butterfly, me) and I just sort of nodded and smiled and said that I was fine, thinking about all the lovely, intelligent and funny people that I 'talk' to every day. I will NOT tell her about LJ - seriously, she'd ask questions for hours on end. She's very curious like that. Anyway, if I sound weird it's probably because I've OD'd on salt-liquorice. ::happy sigh::

I'm going to try to work out some sort of new routine, since I want to get a lot of stuff done before the baby arrives. And I realised that I'm not as addicted to LJ as I thought I was - as long as I can read my flist every day I'm OK. Oh - and it really helped that everyone is doing posts about Star Wars, since I could happily skip them. Made reading much quicker. Anyway, one of the things I need to do is finish 'Maybe Someday' before September. So if I can only write a chapter a week I should be fine - and work out how the damn thing is supposed to finish.

So, to get back into the swing of things I thought I'd do some meme's... I've been tagged for the book, film and music ones, so I'll try to get them done later today. For now I'll do the friend one, since it's one of those that you have to post in your own LJ when you've replied in someone else's.

Why am I on your friends list?
Comment and tell me. Then post this in your journal.

Hi Elisabeth! So is it good to be on your own in the house? It seemed that it's a yes . ;)

Glad to see that you had a nice time with your parents.

You made me smile when you wrote that your mother thought you didn't have a lot of friends.. and then , "I just sort of nodded and smiled and said that I was fine, thinking about all the lovely, intelligent and funny people that I 'talk' to every day " : same here , same here !

I had a lovely week-end with my family.
But I was happy today to read again about everyone's life. :)
