I can't bring myself to watch it. Oh I understand that. I've yet to re-watch 'Journey's End' and I'm not sure I'll be able to... (the end of 'Doomsday' kills me every. single.time. And I'm not even a shipper.)
I haven't re-watched Journey's End either-- I probably will when I inevitably buy the DVDs-- but I haven't yet. And I feel the same way about Doomsday, and I'm not really a shipper either!
Well maybe sort of shipper. I think they were awfully cute together, and brought out the best in each other. And I just adore Rose as a character.

I think that's a lot of what I loved about the relationship. Of course I suspect for a lot of americans Rose was our intro to the the whoniverse. I bonded with her in the first 5 minutes of Rose, when she woke up late, almost missed her bus, and clearly wondered if there was anything more to life than folding sweaters.

Well my knowledge of the 'verse was miniscule - I knew about Daleks, the TARDIS, and the Doctor (who had a long, multicoloured scarf) and that was it. I liked Rose, but I remember being impatient to see when the Doctor would show up - but then I've never been one for identifying with the 'ordinary' characters. (Not that I'm not ordinary, but their stories don't really interest me as much.)
