Kids write the funniest things...

I was tidying and came across this, written by Little Miss M. She loves reading and writing (and is very good at it too), but she might just have a gift for doing tiny drabbles. Transcribed from the original:

once aupon a time there was a ketl and a lemin they were sad the end

The mind of a 6-year old...

Hee! That's very cute. She has a good imagination!

Oh, but why were they sad? And how did they meet in the first place?

She shows great promise! Clearly a chip off the mother's block :)

I know! Why? Why??? Oh, the bitter angst. :0)

PS They must have met over tea. Heh.

Fickle writers. ::shakes head::

Aw, that's cute. Encourage that gift. :)

Yes! And maybe they know that their love is doomed because, one day, the lemin will be mercilessly sliced by the jealous kitchn nife and the ketl will be all alone again....

*sob*

You have no heart. Poor lemin. Poor, poor ketl. Nasty, dark brooding kitchn nife. It's lame and its handl grows straight up. I hope the lemin joos makes its blade go rusty and it end up in the kitchn bin of terrer.

Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

PS You should really write for "Lost".

[identity profile] curiouswombat.livejournal.com 2005-05-13 07:33 pm (UTC)(link)
Seems to have all the elements right - romance, angst and a bit of a cliff-hanger - will they ever find happiness? Were they sad because the ketl was an appliansexual and could not find a toaster who truly cared, or did the ketl love the lemin to no avail as the lemin was only interested in oranges? We know 'oranges are not the only fruit' - but did it feel a ketl was a bit out of it's genre?

Are we actually all guilty of misinterpretation - was the lemin sad because the ketl wouldn't jump off a cliff with it?

We need the next chapter -aaargh!!!

Oh well as long as it's got treasures and airoplanes and everything!!!) that's OK!

I can't help but look forward to it. :) I love epics! Especially ones involving pigs and bears with cute names. Can't wait!

ROFL!

Sounds like someone's having a hot toddy.....
I hope the lemin and ketl became happier in the sequel. :)
