Something about time flying by...

Realised that yesterday was my 4 year LJ anniversary. I'm trying to think of something profound to say, but am coming up blank. Basically I can't imagine life without LJ. It's made my world both larger and smaller - on one hand it's my fannish home, and I love being in this tiny little niche, squeeing and mocking and analysing etc. But on the other hand my flist is like a window to the world - you're all so diverse, from so many different backgrounds and circumstances, that glimpsing all the snippets of your lives in inevitably incredibly enriching.

Also, Happy Birthday [livejournal.com profile] superplin, one of my oldest friends, and someone whose giant brain forever intimidates me. (But in a good way. *g*) Hope you're having a great day!

Finally, if we did the whole Halloween/pumpkin thing, I'd totally use this pattern! (And then Darcy would be appalled and (yet again) curse fandom for warping his formerly normal wife... Ahem. *goes back to working on the next chapter of my Buffy/Jack story, since it is finally behaving*)

Aw, thanks so much for the sweet birthday wishes! My brain is feeling more dead than intimidating these days, alas. ;)

Happy LJ birthday, Elisi. LJ is a great thing and I'm happy it permitted me to discover you. Your meta pieces on Btvs were always a joy to read.
