You know... stuff.
First of all Happy Belated Birthday to
mgal and
jenjojen! Where does the time go, and how are you two doing? I hope your birthdays were fantastic and that life is treating you well!

Otherwise, then I sorry for being so absent, but life is... BUSY! Currently this is due to the summer holidays, which means that the house is full (three kids + Darcy!), and because it is the holidays we are engaged in the DIY projects to end them all. Meaning that the whole house is being turned inside out, there is stuff EVERYWHERE etc, but it will totally be worth it in the end! *crosses fingers*
I am working on the next chapter of 'My Immortal' (Kathy - when would you be able to beta?), but it'll be a while until it's done, so here are a few recs:
Threads That Are Golden Don’t Break Easily by
paperclipbitch (which others have rec'd too, I am slooooow), a Torchwood/Narnia crossover that works utterly, utterly beautifully. Go indulge, I promise you won't be sorry!
Do I need to rec
charmax's vids? If there's anyone out there who is not familiar with her work, go check her out now!
For anyone looking for Jenny fic, they should make haste and read More Than An Echo by
samfeasor, who writes the best Jenny I've come across. I think my favourite is 'A Day in the Life', because it manages to just sum her up in the most wonderful way! :)
Finally (because I have to go), I must rec A Thousand Suns, a S2 Torchwood vid by
andrastewhite. It is the sequel to End of the World News, her incredible TW S1 vid. Together these two works perfectly capture the show. *is in awe*

It sounds like everyone had a great time at WriterConUK - I am trying very hard not to be jealous! *squishes flist*

I've got some busy weekends coming up but I'm free weekdays (unless there's a catastrophe) this week and next week. After that it gets a lot more complicated, but I should still have a bit of free time before we go on holiday in mid-September. Looking forward to reading the next chapter whenever it's ready.
Best of luck with the DIY!

I am currently clearing out kitchen cupboards - there is stuff in there that I'm sure hasn't been touched since we put it in 5 years ago!

It'll be worth your while, even if you have to run around like a lunatic afterwards! Not only does it fit perfectly, it also explains something that I think has probably bothered most Narnia readers!
Yeah! for more Imortal!
Aw thanks! :) If only I didn't have to sleep, it'd totally be finished!
