Pimp that'll make you laugh your head off! Oh, and some RL stuff too!

What is it about (early) AtS S5 that lends itself so well to humour? The office environment that is much more recognisable to most of us than 'let's save the world!'? The fact that all the main characters get along? I don't know, but this fic: 'I Really Don't Like Mondays' is a gem of hilarity! It's set post-'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco' and is a life in the day of Angel, from his POV. Written by [livejournal.com profile] booster17. It made me actually laugh out loud all the way through (which is unusual) and when finished I kept annoying Darcy by chuckling to myself as the funny bits kept popping up in my head! *happy sigh* So go read - it's bound to cheer you up! :)

On the RL front I'm rather chipper too - although not being able to see JM and meeting lots of LJ-people is rather unfair! But I *do* have the loveliest sister-in-law! She came by on thursday (she often picks up Little Miss M on thursdays since she finishes college early), but this thursday she came to see me first... and then proceeded to tidy the children's bedroom!!!!!! I've been avoiding it for far, far too long, since the best method would seem to involve a shovel and some binliners. But now it's *spotless*! ::Does the Numfar Dance of Joy:: She only did about half, but it was obviously the awkward half, because I sorted out the rest that evening with no problems! :) This is all especially good, since the little monsters angels will be getting bunkbeds v. soon, and the room would need clearing for that purpose! :)

(Oh, and you can't have my s-i-l! She mine and not sharable!)

Hm, since I'm covering the RL stuff, what else has happened? I bought some pregnancy clothes, which was nice (and on sale, so even better!), and yesterday afternoon Darcy put up a tyre-swing for the children! Will have to take some pictures of them swinging at some point, because they're just *so* cute! (I have very cute kids!)

My parents are coming to visit in a couple of weeks time, which means that I'll have to sort out the office at some point, since it doubles as guest room. It's a bit... 'crowded' at the moment. But they'll bring lots of salt-liquorice, so I'm beginning to count down the days. /shallow

Am planning to write a post on 'Selfless' btw, but that'll probably wait until monday. Have a great weekend everybody! ::hugs::
