2 things.
And The Captain's Blog has been updated for 'Adrift'! Squee! I can't explain how much I adore this quasi-canon thing. (It views the show through the same glasses I do, so it can't fail to please...)
And I am now working on a tiny little (silly!) crossover fic (DW/TW). Watch this space. :)

James was just acting what he was told to act, not coming along and taking over the show, as that review would imply.

(But I agree with Gray not being well done, which is a shame. Give me time and I'm sure I can fanwank something.)

However, JM had to work with the material he was given, which included the enormous plank of wood. It's telling that JM's acting was more compelling than the Gray actor's when all he was doing was standing the background holding a shovel.
Anyway, thanks for linking to that review. A salutary reminder for me why I'm not, and never will be, a TW fan.

I've been thinking along those lines too. Ah well, nevermind. I can't be changed now.

Snerk.

Well I shall happily keep Ianto all for myself! :)

You're welcome to him.
Forgot to ask; did the comic arrive okay?

*shakes head* I find this reaction as strange as those people who don't like Spike... (not the haters, those who just don't care). I mean - of course certain characters don't work for everybody, but it is the thought that I won't get any more Ianto for 9 months or so that is just *killing* me at the moment. *sigh* Obsession isn't easy.

And I've been forgetting to say thank you! Yes it arrived fine, and I have a few thoughts that I'll try to write down once I have some spare moments...
