Just a few things I thought people might be interested in:

thedeadlyhook had lots of lovely long discussions in her LJ yesterday about all things S6 because of this post. Have a look, there are some very, very clever threads!

And whenever S6 is brought up, I always feel the need to rec one of the best posts ever on S6 Buffy and Spike. (By the_royal_anna so you might all know it already - I just feel in a pimping mood today!).

This morning vampirefever very kindly linked to an interview with JM. If you've ever wondered why Spike always came across as a sex-god, now you can find out! ;)
ETA: Picked up my own copy of Metro this afternoon on the bus! :) I'm such a sad little fangirl!


Is there anyone out there who doesn't know about Three Deep? If not, go check it out now. Personally I can't wait until May 3rd!


Completely unrelated to anything else - just found out that Little Miss M has friday-monday-tuesday off! That means 5 days at home! And I've just managed to return the house to a state of tidiness... maybe I could lock the children in their bedroom and not let them out until they've tidied it?

It's very strange being in the Buffy fandom when I'm not a fan so much anymore. This is entirely because I don't watch the show at all now. How do I know this? Because when I watched that kick-ass trailer to Three Deep - my pupils got so big I looked like Puss in Boots. :0D Sometimes I forget (especially with shaved JM wandering around out there) just how shockingly special Spike is...and how much I really love Buffy. So thanks for that!

That interview with JM was really good. I thought his answers were thoughtful and kind. He could have easily said we're all nutbars, even just joking, but he didn't. I think he's so right about the show taking us away from the greyness of our lives. That's a little sad I suppose, but odds are we're never going to be Slayers who have sex with vampires, you know what I mean? I think even if our lives were wholly satisfying, we'd still ache for the myth. Hey, here I am being deep in your LJ! Go Team Me!

The reason Spike took off was because me and my then girlfriend were having the most outrageous sex I've ever had in my life and I felt like the tallest man in the world. It was just dripping off me.

::head explodes:: That actually explains a lot, doesn't it? Makes perfect sense to me. Where do I send the thank you card to his ex?

PS Send your kids over here. My house was never clean to begin with.

I watch Buffy sporadically... my husband likes the show, but isn't too keen on watching it, so a couple of times a month is probably typical. Very glad to have re-hooked you (is that a usable phrase?) with 'Three Deep'! ;) It's even got it's own LJ which makes it very easy to follow!

Oh, yes! I adore all the messed-up darkness of Buffy/Spike, more so probably because my own life is so straight-forward. (Darcy and I were engaged after 6 days and married after a year!)

Hee! I knew you'd love that bit! And yeah - it explains an awful lot! If you find that ex-girlfriend, maybe we should consider flowers too?

And my kids are hopeless at tidying! I'd let them out after 5 days and the room would look the same if not worse... can't complain too much really, since I was incredibly messy when I was little. *sigh*

Heh. It's sort of a thing in my family - meeting someone and just knowing that they're the one! Might write down the whole story one day, including the tales of my grandparents, parents and cousins!
