Otherwise, then I've had a v. nice time with my friend who left this afternoon. Have not looked at my flist since Friday, and honestly can't face skip=500+, so please let me know if anything happened? Any kerfuffles or particularly impressive vids/fics/icons/meta/etc? Did LJ do anything stupid (again? I read about there not being basic accounts anymore)? Did any of you get married/win the lotterly etc? Link me please!

I have to run again, not wanting to appear as obsessed as I am... Oh and I won't be around much I'm afraid since it is now the holidays. I'll have the girls home for the next two weeks (nearly) and Darcy for more than that... And I have my very wicked [& totally awesome] plotbunny eating my head. (It proved distracting over the weekend. Being unable to write can be painful...)

Apparently there's some sort of mission to have a strike on Friday, but I only know about it because some of my flist have posted to say they won't be striking.

OTOH, I find this rather unpleasant and disturbing. Echoes of the Chinese government's pronouncements on Tibet in a way...

Hmm.... Most worrying is that he doesn't seem to understand what LJ *is* and why people would want one. And he's very negative re. people trying to communicate... Anyway, thanks for the link.
