Vid recs

Well, I promised spikefan to make a vid-rec post, so here it is. Not particularly long or anything, but then I'm fairly new to this whole vidding business. Also I *try* not to spend too much time on fandom stuff, since RL is getting more demanding at the moment, but hopefully this list will be enough for now:



sdwolfpup: The first vidder I ever came across, who has made some of my all time favourite vids. I especially love Coin Operated Boy (that I've rec'd all over LJ by now I think) and her Spike and S/B vids are all excellent too. As is all her other stuff - just go watch!
Wolfpup Serenade

Rowena: Has some truly outstanding vids, especially Requiem (the events of Buffy's death and resurrection set to 'Bohemian Rhapsody') and I remember (Buffy/Angel(us) - so very, very spot-on!). Along with lots of other vidding goodness!
Dead But Still Pretty

heres_luck: Lots of Spike and Spuffy vids along with other excellent stuff - particularly Superstar which is probably the best Faith vid ever!
Paper Cup - vids by here's luck

vrya: The maker of one of the best Spike vids ever, schism, and one of the funniest Buffy vids Bright Side - Buffy life sucks... but in a funny way! Enjoy! :)

wendylouwho: Some wonderful vids, the best one possibly Releasing the demons - a brilliant look at Angel(us)!

liliaeth: Just one vid, but one of my favourites - I need a hero. Yes, it's the song from Shrek 2, but the vid is Spuffy (mostly OMWF) and Spike/Angel in S5... just go download now!

Luminosity: It's was one of her vids that sparked off this post, so of course I forgot her! The vid in question was Rebel Yell (Billy Idol!!!) and is a most brilliant Spike/Buffy vid! Along with a loads of Angel and Buffy vids - check her out!

I've been in love with fan videos for a long time, ever since I discovered EosReia's Spuffy videos in S6.

I know you may not have time to watch a whole lot of videos right now, but here are some you should really check out when you get the time:

Thank you for this! I had forgotten I'd made such a request (brain like sieve, sickness not helping at all) and got a couple of days behind on LJ. I see I'm going to have to move some stuff off my teeny tiny laptop hard drive (10 Gb) to make room for videos. If only all my problems were like that! You rock, rock, rock, Elisi.

I suppose you could put the vids on disks so they won't take up so much room?

"True Hollywood Romance" came about due to my love for Common Rotation. I just had to vid to a song by them. Glad you liked "Releasing the Demons." I've gotten quite a few comments about the ending.
