I've *completely* forgotten to pimp sdwolfpup's brilliant idea More Joy Day, which has now arrived! (But better late than never and all that...)

And thank you lots and lots to the lovely person who got me a virtual snowglobe for my profile. Made me smile a lot! :)

I don't have much to contribute I'm afraid, but I *do* have two vid recs that are truly spectacular!

Buffy-verse: Ruiner by danegen is a very skillful comparison of the similarities between Angel's relationship with his two sons, Connor and Spike. My favourite sort of vid is the meta-vid, and this one delivers and more besides. Just wow. (I am *so* glad I have already written essays on this subject, otherwise I'd have to get right on it!)

Who-verse: Carol of the Bells by croc_rocketfan. This vid just blew me away. Her summary is this: "There will be time, time for all the works and days of hands, for I have known them all." Nothing can be eternal. Which is pretty spot-on.

The Doctor: I have to live on. Alone. That's the curse of the Time Lords.

Thanks for these vid recs - I loved the Dr Who one (set to one of my favourite christmassy pieces of music).
I fear I'll wear it out - and yet I keep re-watching...

And the Jack one I've adored for more than half a year! It's just gorgeous! Enjoy! :)
