Peter Wimsey? Wow.
I *know*! I'd never dare tackle him, but I'm so glad someone did.

But I have so much bookmarked now, including your fic! I need a vacation just to read fanfic.

LOL! I love your username. :)
I need a vacation just to read fanfic.
Tell me about it! Although more than anything I need to *write* and my muse has turned into a mule...

OK here goes: Lord Peter Death Bredon Wimsey is a fictional detective, invented by the writer Dorothy L. Sayers. The books are brilliant, and you should go dig them out from a library asap! Trust me! :)
(You can also check out the wiki entry - at least the first part, down to the contents box. It'll give you a good insight in Sayers' nature. *g*)

I've bookmarked the fic though, so I'll be giving it a peek when the time comes :)

Well do you mean those *specific* detective novels, or just detective stories in general? Because the Wimsey books are in a category of their own - I have re and re-read most of them countless times, because I quite simply love the characters so much. And Peter/Harriet is one of the most wonderful and real love story I've *ever* read (takes place over several books/5 years) and they were my first OTP (not that I knew that term back then).
So um... yes I can gush. ;) But they really are fabulous books. Although I know far too well what it's like to have a long list of stuff to read...

ok ok, I'll add them to my list. Maybe I'll get to them.... in a couple of years ;)
