Happy happy joy joy!
Mmmmm. *is very happy*
As soon as Terry Wogan mentioned Timelords, I pressed ‘record’, and Darcy looked at me and said: “You are *so* sad!”
“I know!” I replied happily.
Then the programme started and The Cherub pointed to the screen and said proudly: “Tocti Too!”
I said: “Look!” and Darcy sighed deeply and replied: “She’ll grow up to be sad too...”
“And happy!” I countered, and settled down to watch. :)
When Moffat’s name popped up, and squeed quietly, because he is *brilliant* and I was not disappointed. The whole thing was sweet and funny and poignant and lovely and *just* right - and then it just went up to a whole different level of awesomeness when Five said (re. The Master): “Does he still have that silly beard?” (This from memory btw) and then Ten replied: “No. No beard... well he has a wife!”
I nearly *died*, because I remembered someone making a macro of Lucy months ago with the caption ‘The Master’s Beard’. :)
Moffat FTW! *bounces*
And that’s all for now, I’ll have to re-watch a *whole* bunch of times and soak in the Timelord love.

Reminds me of that time my brother's 2-year-old son chased me around the living room, growling and calling himself "Pike". Which is an unfortunate mix-up of Buffy boyfriends on his part, but I think he can be excused...

Hee! The Cherub said 'Pike' for a while (it was one of her first words, but then that is the great thing about naming a pet after a fannish crush), but lately it's turned into 'Spikey' which is just too cute!
