Ah sweet obsession...
'Children in Need' is on in less than 15 minutes, and I've got a tape all ready to record the teeny tiny little Doctor Who snippet we'll be treated to... Oh and I'm recording John Barrowman's piece as well, of course, whatever it might be. *is impatient*
Speaking of obsession,
awmp has a poll. Which was ridiculously easy for me, cause I don't even watch SPN. But, it prompted me to write down what it is about certain characters that makes me fall for them. This is my rudimentary list that all my fannish crushes fulfill:
a) Not human.
b) At least a hundred years old (/immortal)
c) Must preferably have died a few times...
d) Oh and if he's flirted with (or crossed) the good/evil line, or ruthlessly killed people/creatures/whatever [insert varying circumstances] - I'm there!
Or, in other words, I love vampires with souls and Timelords with brown eyes... ;)

Would be with you on the DW thing too (or more likely to be) if Chris Eccleston had stayed in the role.

Oh I loved him too - but I didn't obsess (funny what tips people over the edge). But - I remember watching 'Bad Wolf' (the one before 'The Parting of the Ways') just after coming home from seeing Star Wars 3, and Eccleston just knocked me out with how brilliant and understated he was, compared to the ridiculous OTT acting of SW!
