:)
I have a horrid cold. My nose is all sniffly and my head feels like it is full of achey fluff, and yet today has been a very good day.
It started off wonderfully, you see, because when I woke up Darcy this morning he informed me that he didn't have to go to work today!!!! Today is an inset day, and thus the children would be home (it's also the first day of half-term), and realising that I wouldn't be all alone having to entertain them was like the bestest present ever! :)
Had a lovely morning, going to the library (there's a toddler story time on friday's), and then wandered around town a little. And then in the afternoon Darcy installed little lights in the girls' doll's house (he's multi-talented), and I used The Cherub's naptime to transcribe the last chapters of 'Not The Last', which now just need a bit of fine polishing and then they're good to post. And
kathyh sent back Part 2 of 'AYW+1' (which was refusing to behave), with lots and lots of helpful suggestions, so hopefully I should be able to knock that into shape too. Who knows, I might even post it before the end of the month!
And to stop this being a total waste of your time, here's 'The Mom Song'. (Snagged from
wisemack!) Enjoy! :)

yhlee wrote the loveliest Angel/Nina ficlet: Half-moon.
See you all later!

I enjoyed the Mom song. Very important information. I'm taking notes. :-)

Thank you. Although having written fic, nothing can dent my happiness! :)

Hee! But don't worry - it all comes naturally, trust me! (And good luck - meant to comment on your photos, but managed to forget...)

I loved The Mom Song. Got 3 kids and 3 moms of my own, so I emailed it to all my friends!

It is worryingly spot-on! *g* So glad you enjoyed it!

Being a mum of 2 teenage and one older daughter I found that song hilarious and everything she said in it I have said myself and I'm still saying them now.

It's scary... at least we're all in the same boat!

Today is an inset day,
*That* explains it. I couldn't work out why there were so many kids milling around in town today when I know half term doesn't start until next week. Glad you had help for the day.

Oh no! You cheered me muchly. Not knowing what to do with it has been driving me mad, so getting pointers was wonderful! :)

Glad to be of help!
