First of all a fic rec. This was one I checked out very warily, because crossovers can be... well I've come across a fair few rubbish ones. But this one has me utterly fascinated. And it is (as far as I can tell) the author's first fic... so go give encouragement, m'kay? Great, great premise and a lot of clever plotting. I want more - now! (Spoilers for Doctor Who (S3 esp.), Torchwood and Life on Mars)

Tragedy (a Spike vid) by dualbunny. You have all probably seen it by now, but if not... make haste. 'Tis *brilliant*! And cleverly made too! Oh Spike, how much do I love thee?

Vogue by sockkpuppet is a '300' vid... and my god it is gorgeous and amazing and incredible and all sorts of other things. I've not seen the film, but I want to. And I keep re-watching the vid, because WOW! Go on - give it a try.

I saw Vogue this morning but hadn't gotten to Tragedy yet. Wow, our vidders just keep bounding forward in the stylistically amazing department, huh?

Wow! Both of these are stylistic masterpieces. I'd already seen Tragedy but hadn't seen Vogue and it was extraordinary. sockpuppet used to vid in Highlander, my first internet fandom ("Ability to Swing" is a gorgeous vid if you like to see pretty men *g*), and her work has always been extraordinary but she just keeps getting better and better.

We are very lucky to have such talented vidders! The fact that they keep getting better seems to defy logic.

Oh - I meant to ask, but forgot... when would be a good time to send you my seasonal_spuffy fic for a proper beta? There's still more than a month to go of course, so whenever suits you (I know how busy you are...). I've fiddled with it a bit, but am kinda stuck and I don't know if that means it's pretty much done, or I'm just lazy. *g*

I'm not going to have a lot of time this week and our windows are being done next week, which means the computer has to be disconnected for a bit so realistically I'd have to say about 4th September. If that's too late I might be able to squeeze it in this week. I shall be so, so glad when the whole window business is finished!

Just saw Tragedy, I love it!!! Dualbunny is amazing. I've never seen 300, so I don't think the Vogue video had biggest impact on me, but it was very nicely done.
