I could not really get into it, but then the shipping thing is hard to do in comic books (no room for proper development).
Also, I really liked the whole friendship thing, and turning it into a romance makes everything more complicated and stuff.

And Thank you for writing this. I'd love to read more fanfic for the comics, yet I rarely find some. :)
