I don't have time to write this, but... LORD Doctor Who is brilliant. This is what? 4 outstanding episodes in a row and the continuity!!! *swoons*

Captain Jack!!!!!!! *much dancing* In like 10 mintues they explained pretty much everything we've been wondering about ever since Torchwood started, and then they just kept going. He's A FACT! :) But then we all knew that... Heh. And him and Martha bitching together... and him saying *hello* to everything attractive that moved... and The Doctor calling him on it, and yet not being above just a little flirting himself... and The Doctor abandoned him *on purpose*. (Yes it all made me rather incoherent.)

And then the watch!!!! This was bloody BRILLIANT! Of course it was The Master! When he regenerated, Darcy muttered darkly about getting a great, great actor like Derek Jacobi and then getting rid of him after one ep., but I was just glued to the screen, wondering who he was becming... and OMG HE TURNED INTO SAM TYLER!!!! ::deliriously happy:: RTD loves his fans like nothing else on earth, because Doctor/Master just became the hottest OTP currently on screen. D'you think TV will melt? I wonder how much slashy goodness there's already been written...

But I need to run (Impish Girl's birthday party today - see you tomorrow, 'K? *hugs*)

I couldn't agree more - in fact, I had almost the same comment with the boyfriend this evening when we watched. I said that Russell T Davies was amost Joss-like in getting in an arc, and that this series was the best Dr Who ever - and I'm standing by that. I watched the entire episode with my mouth completely open, my hand covering it. Truly. Wonderful. Stuff.

I was so worried post-Gridlock, because the season seemed to have lost its way... and then - *wham*! Just wow. And The Doctor, The Master and Capt. Jack all together? There is actually no need for plot anymore...

When Jack appeared at the beginning, I squealed. I thought that was it. But no, at that moment of revelation in Derek Jacobi's voice... I squealed, bounced AND clapped.
