My 'Spike: Asylum' comic book just arrived! *does the Numfar Dance of Joy*
Now I just need absolute peace and quiet for reading...
ETA: It is just as wonderful as people have been saying! *is very happy and loves Spike*
Oh and just to add some actual content to this post, let me pimp this excellent post by
liz_marcs: The Perfect (LJ) Storm. Go read, even if you've been trying to avoid stuff - it addresses all sorts of things like fandom, the new copy-right law and what might be done about it!
ETA: Awesome post here about why fandom is brilliant! :)

Glad you enjoyed it. Was pretty sure you would. Where did you get your copy from btw? I ordered mine from Amazon and it still hasn't been shipped.

Was pretty sure I would too and my expectations were high. Impossibly pleased that they were met and more! :)
And yes, I ordered mine from Amazon - surprised that it arrived so soon, since I don't think it's actually offically published until the 29th or something... And I need a comic!Spike icon I think. Might do some scans later and then bribe

Yeah, I'm looking forward to having all that gathered in one place. Brian's been posting them issue by issue on the IDW board (and probably Whedonesque as well, though I don't tend to hang around there much and didn't see them).

Being a fan is a wonderous thing, isn't it? *g*
I also bought the other two Spike TPBs and have been reading them in order.
I'm looking forward to long and detailed reviews!

As to the third, I'm trying different ways of combining words and pictures, but I'm not satisfied with the results so I'll go on trying. It's very stimulating, because I realized now that I confine myself to the same type of avis and make them a bit mechanically.
A question: what's a TPB?

I love, love, love the first one! Seriously, it's exactly what I wanted, except a million times better! Don't get me wrong I love the second one too... ::stares mesmerised::
I'd say just forget about the third one, since these are so gorgeous, but if you're having fun by all means continue! :)

to prolong the oglingto give you a choice. :)))Thanks for the TPB explanation! I often see this abbreviation on IDW comics forum, but I was a bit embarassed to ask there...

Well I should say you were onto a winner from the start... ;)

I know the feeling. I still remember trying to work out what OTP stood for!
