No, I think the closest it could imagine to a serious American candidate was a Canadian! (Albeit one played by John Lithgow). This literally made me laugh out loud and picture his character from 3rd Rock to the Sun being elected pope. "I can't be pope! I'm not even human!" Other character: "Doesn't matter, as long as you're Catholic you're fine." *g*
And even from across the ocean, I've absorbed enough to know that Chicago has a particular character all of its own. Same. They do things differently. (Although he has also spent a lot of time in Peru, which is... interesting.)
