Summary:

At the end of episode 7 the Night Nurse takes the boys away to be processed and taken to their afterlife. This story chronicles what happens next.

Charles: You ever think, what if Death did catch us? She'd force us to go to the afterlife and split up.
Edwin: I will make sure that never happens.

And yes, it became continually more plausible the more I delved into it. I think it's just become part of my headcanon now.
