Life on Mars.
As soon as it started I said "Oh my God it's 'Normal Again'!"
Which is blindingly obvious of course, but hadn't really occurred to me before. As a matter of fact the whole series is 'Normal Again', but far more indepth and playing with realities and existentialism and all that stuff!
And the 'fake' reality is more real...
Nice.

*nods* Buffy dared to be different on so many levels.
Even down to the talk with his mother which helped him to realise where his true heart lay.
I hadn't thought of that. But what a nice parallel.
But I still loved it.
Oh absolutely! It was very much its own thing!

Or Tom Baker at least.
Have you ever heard of a fic where Andrew meets the Doctor?

Of course... I think I worked out this thing where in the Buffy 'verse Doctor Who was never made! ;)

I haven't, but I could ask around - I have friends who're very involved in the Who fandom...

I came to me right at the start when Sam was told to get rid of Hunt - it made me flash back to the doctor in Normal Again telling Buffy to kill her friends.
Now I just want to watch the whole thing again to pick up on all the stuff I missed the first time round.
Having only watched the second half or season 2 I want to catch up on all of it...
