Two years and two days

Can't believe I missed the day, and yet... why is everything so much worse, now? And it feels so much longer than 2 years, somehow? I'm sure it was still covid times when Russia invaded.

Margarita Life posted a vid: IT'S NOT A GAME

Summary:

"...So many backs with a single knife..."

This video is dedicated to two years of full-scale war in Ukraine, which was started by russia. But war really started 10 years ago in 2014 with the occupation of Crimea. Ukraine is paying a very high price for freedom.
This pain will be with me all my life even when the war ends.

At work today, my colleague said "Can people's relatives just stop dying in wars?" and I said "Can we just stop the wars?" and she thought for a moment and agreed that would actually fix things.

I was surprised to hear it was already two years. I think it's because what's happening in Ukraine keeps coming up in the news, so it seems ever present. Also, a lot of things seem recent to me these days that actually aren't.
