I was going to write up something about Threads (and Twitter and Blueskye etc), which I might yet do. For now, just one thing: Please read the fine print before you sign up to new services, guys. Most of these places will profit off of everything you post and steal all your data. (One of the reasons I'm on Mastodon. <3 I will post a guide one of these days.)

The problem with Threads (such as it is) is that it's so easy. I doubt that many people bothered to read the fine print...

I'd prefer to be on Mastodon, though I'm still dithering about that, lol!
I keep meaning to post an easy guide. Although I guess want to wait until you have the time and space to actually have fun with it.

I keep meaning to post a guide, I really ought to do that! It's not as ~terribly complicated~ as some people make out (and it has some really good features), but it does require a bit of work to begin with.

I just like places not owned by billionaires! Which does reduce the options. *g* (I say that, but I have an instagram...)
