I am pleased that there is iPlayer and fast forward for most of the stuff (plus having a minute-by-minute schedule posted up it's easy to find the historical bits I'm interested in. All with the sound turned down :)

I feel the most for the ones carrying the coffin (most nerve-wracking job and then some!) and the poor brass players (hours and hours of playing...)

Good grief yes! I was interested to see how they fixed the orb and sceptre to the coffin - especially as they had to negotiate steps. It took some strength, and I had not realised it was the same men all day.

Oh yes, the same guys! Must have done nothing except carry heavy boxes for the past few weeks, they were absolutely solid. (And yes, orb & sceptre were clearly well-stuck down.)
