Rainbow post :)
Also (via... someone on my flist, sorry lost the post) a delightful fic starring Izzy Hands (his voice is spot-on), but under a cut cause the description is spoilery:
everybody knows how this goes, so lets get over it (and let's get this over with)
Summary:
Israel Hands, first mate to Blackbeard himself, number one Stede Bonnet hater, and general badass experienced pirate with (infinitely many) better things to do with his time, is sneaking silently across the deck of his own ship in the dead of night, bent on taking a rowboat and expending a great deal of time and effort in order to retrieve the person he despises most in the world.
-Or-
Blackbeard's post-breakup leadership style leaves much to be desired. As much as Izzy hates to admit it, Stede Bonnet might be the only one who can get through to him at this point. So he sets off on a quest to find him.
Oh and this bit of HILARIOUS fan art:

Taika Waititi being delightful:

SO TRUE OF HIM.

Brave (and hopeful) Pride story via Kerk:
Milicz makes history as smallest town in Poland to host Pride parade
With only 11,000 inhabitants, Milicz made history by becoming the smallest town in Poland where a Pride march was held.
The amazing story about Magic Earring Ken.
The gay Ken doll that is still the best selling Barbie product of all time
And then a bunch of tweets (threads, videos etc), putting them under a cut to save your flist. <3

OK one outside the cut, because it's so fascinating. From the info gleaned from the articles, I think the brothers were probably intersex, but assigned female at birth.
In 1934-1936, trans brothers Mark and David Ferrow of Yarmouth, UK both transitioned at age 13 with full parental support. Mark medically transitioned first in 1939 at 17 and his brother soon followed. "Though we have been girls, we have both felt men at heart," Mark added. pic.twitter.com/3JwFAd7wLU
