I read this article:

Before he became an international symbol, he played a common man whose outrage over corruption elevated him to high office.

And decided to check out 'Servant of the People' ('In the show, Zelenskyy is a humble high school teacher whose rant about corruption goes viral on YouTube and propels him to the presidency') and it is genuinely entertaining and extremely watchable. In the US it's on Netflix, in the UK it's on Channel 4, not sure about elsewhere. There is a DISTINCT sense of disconnect watching this comedy (political comedy, it has teeth even if most of it is just funny) and knowing the current reality. But if you are looking for something to watch - look no further. I have only seen one episode so far, but am already attached to the characters & the world.

Same. I'm wondering if it'll be like Shetland - which is a lovely series, but the idea of a serial killer in Shetland is completely ludicrous. A stolen bike is front page news (and I am not kidding). :)

I also remember a Faroese crime novel from, oh 20-30 years ago, which featured Nazis! I'm presuming this drama won't. My guess will be 'somewhere between Nazis & sheep'. *g*
