As midnight approaches...
Aha! There is a tape! And I’ve got it! There is trouble on ‘Happily Ever After’....
Now, as is usually the case with these things, the tape is not the best quality, and cuts off just when it gets interesting - but this is what I saw:
(Willow and Buffy, sat talking, obviously thinking they wouldn’t be overheard).
Buffy: “Will - are you happy? I mean here - with Oz and everything.”
Willow: “Of course! It’s like all my fantasies became real and I’m no-more-gloomy-Willow! Aren’t you happy?”
Buffy: “Of course I’m happy! This is fairytale stuff! It’s just... well... kinda... boring?”
Willow: “Well, I guess there’s not a lot to do really, but... you’re with the love of your life! Your soulmate! Isn’t that enough?”
Buffy: “Yes! Yes! I love him! He’s just - well, broody!”
Willow: “But I thought you liked that!”
Buffy: “So did I! And I do! It’s sort of mysterious and deep.... but there’s just no - well no fighting! He always agrees! I just wish that sometimes we could have a really big row, and then we could make up and have this really hot sex with-”
Willow: “With what?”
Buffy: “Nothing! I was just thinking about-”
And that’s it! But me thinks that Buffy might not be a happy little bunny after all!
Wait - someone is knocking on the door!
(pause)
OMG!!!! The gossip I heard earlir tonight is true!!!!! The viewing figures have gone down and down, and the network nearly cancelled the show!!! And to save it, there will added a new character... a handsome stranger with a mysterious past, who’ll arrive later tonight on his motorbike! Squee! The plan is that he and Buffy will have an affair, and then run off together. They’ll probably end up going round world or something like that. (After the succes of ‘Long Way Round’, executives are keen on road trip shows!)
And look! My icon! I’m slowly clawing my way out of the Rabbit Hole!

So are you going to hang around to wait for his arrival or is the Rabbit Hole effect going to wear off too soon?
Personally I don't want it to end as everybody carelessly ran off and left me with Spike. We've had a very pleasant evening together, apart from some slight disagreements about football *g*.
