Daily Dimash: I Only Love You
This is such a pretty song!😠It's in Ukrainian and was written by the Ukrainian singer Oleksandr Ponomariov in 2006. I'm not entirely sure when this recording is from, but he performed it in 2012 during a contest (Zhas, Qanat Young waves competition) where he won first place, so I'm presuming he recorded it around the same time, i.e. 9 years ago when he was only 18. (No ridiculous notes, just prettiest tune omg!)
There is no official music video so I tried to pick one with English subtitles where the images/story weren't too distracting. Live performance under the cut, but on the studio version below he sings his own backing vocals towards the end, which he obviously couldn't do live. Also one of the few instances of Dimash w/autotune. Mostly used for effect, it's not like he needs it. *g*
Live performance. He was so SMOL:
(with subtitles here)
And a reaction video (Boostd Reviews):

A new supersized 3D screen has gone up in Shinjuku. This giant kitty will be featured in between broadcasts.

Last night the Gov passed the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill. So pernicious in parts, such as restricting the right to protest, that it chillingly removes some of our most precious freedoms. Seldom do democracies recognise their stealthy descent into authoritarianism. pic.twitter.com/R6HWrJ6d2v
