Update from the house of Plague (Day 104 of Year 2)
When you register online & fill out all the questionnaires, you also get a whole list of different symptoms (not just the top 3 that everyone knows). I seem to be going through them, like collecting Pokemon! Thankfully not on top of each other - I'm barely coughing now, but very sniffly. The coughing followed on from the achyness & headache. Now I'm just lethargic. Such fun! /Miranda voice
Basically just wiped out, so this will be a short update. Today I have mostly been watching youtube videos & scrolling through instagram. Productivity = 0. Oh and the 15 y.o.'s test also came back positive. Full house!
Daily Dimash: Sagyndym Seni
This must have come up on youtube, I don't think I searched for it. The song is on his album (iD) so I knew it already - what I didn't know is that his father wrote it for his mother. ðŸ˜
The video below is a sing-along one, with subtitles to help pronouncing the Kazakh, but honestly I'm just here for the pictures of his parents (Kanat and Sveta). <3
"Sagyndym Seni " - "I Miss You" English Transliteration
And then I found this video of his parents singing the song as a duet. There is also some voice over in Russian(?) but the singing is lovely. ♥ Mmm, you can *so* tell he's his parents' child, both in looks and in his singing. (Mum is a classically trained opera singer, dad was a pop singer.) Also it was a pop tune originally, Dimash was presumably the one to turn it into a ballad.

Writing this is the most I have done all day, I honestly meant to get to all the comments, but that didn't happen. Hopefully tomorrow...
