Year 2 of Lockdown, Day 14

The UK slowly coming out of lockdown like:

Black Parade 4

How did the rules change on 29 March in England?

- People will be allowed to meet outside - including in private gardens - in groups of up to six, or as two households

- The stay-at-home rule has ended, although the government asks that people "minimise travel"; holidays are still not allowed

- Outdoor sport facilities will reopen, including golf courses, tennis and basketball courts, and outdoor swimming

- Formally organised outdoor sports can restart

- Weddings can take place, attended by up to six people

(BBC Explainer: What's the roadmap for lifting lockdown?)

Ohh, thank goodness!! Now here is hoping to people actually being SENSIBLE. A faint hope, I'm sure...but one I still maintain (even as people within my own country are acting BEYOND foolish!)

I'm going to see my Mum on Saturday! In person, for a whole hour, for the first time since the 8th December.

I think our restrictions are going to stay for another few weeks, though, because the R number is still quite high.
