So very nearly a year since lockdown started... And things are beginning to move forward. Miss M goes back to uni on Thursday. Impish Girl on Saturday. The Cherub is back at school next week (presuming she has a negative test on Tuesday *crosses fingers*).

I'll still be working from home most days (am only in the office once or twice a week, and everything is VERY empty & socially distanced), but it'll be so much quieter (and tidier) in the house.

There appears to be actual light at the end of the tunnel. (If we ignore Brexit and All The Other Issues.) Also daylight is a thing which I am very much appreciating.

Thank you! Eldest is all packed and will set off tomorrow! (She does art, so being back to her actual studio space is appreciated. Ditto the 2nd who is doing drama. Acting over zoom is... not ideal.)

I still can't believe it's been a year since the world got f**ked over with the pandemic.

I'm sure parents with children at home are breathing HUGE sighs of relief to have tidier homes and fewer aromas from children (I have two boys..... who were 'aromatic' when they lived with me, I'm glad they have their own places now LOL!)

*snort* Thankfully we have escaped any aromas, but although we love them dearly it's not been good for any of us to be on top of each other for most of a year.

Well they've been learning the whole time, it's not like they got time off, but... they're happy to go back. Especially since the older two are doing drama and art - not subjects that are easy to do on their own, in a small house.
