PM's update
Step one of the roadmap, on 8 March, will see schools in England reopening and two people allowed to meet outdoors for a chat

The two older ones might go back to uni soon! And the 'little' one (15) is presumably back in achool on the 8th!

Of course after every.single.announcement the government have done a U-turn, but I am cautiously eyeing up something that might be hope. And am quite happy to keep washing my hands & wearing a mask. :)

The big girls are busy planning their return! The house will be so QUIET (and the housework will be so much less...)

Well, the eldest is going back [to uni] on Thursday, the middle one on Saturday and the youngest is back at school w/c 8th!

So it's all happening!

The house will be very empty.

But also... so much tidier and there'll be so much less washing/cleaning to do. Although more importantly they'll be happier.

The empty nest feeling will be intense for a few days, I imagine. But you will get some peace and they will have some freedom. :)

Well we will still have the youngest. However I remember the short period in the autumn when the older ones had gone and (after getting used to the quiet) is was nice. :)
