Thank goodness somebody's come to their senses enough to declare another lockdown, frankly. I wish someone over here would put their big girl panties on and do it.

Though the mayor has declared that all residents should avoid downtown for the next week so that the police can arrest the armed vigilantes converging on us in peace. 2021 is off to a good start.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. It's SO late. Everyone has seen this coming for miles, because our leaders are useless, and doing The Right Thing when there are no other options left is... *hands*

I am very, very much looking forward to Staged tonight. As it will be on after Bloody Stupid Johnson has addressed the Nation I may well feel the need to binge the whole lot on iPlayer at once, though with grim, dark weeks ahead we will try to be restrained.

I fear we are more likely to move onto colour ratings, in which Code Pink is lowest, Code Red is only mildly scary and Code Radioactive Infra-Purple is what everywhere North of Watford gets to be. (Cynic? Moi?)

Same here. And I just discovered that the eldest hasn't seen S1 (goodness knows HOW) so I'll have to stage some sort of intervention... (pun absolutely intended)

Several of the Staged performers have Covid hair. I can relate.
Can't we all? ;) Although David Tennant had extensions put in before lockdown, whereas Michael Sheen's locks are all his own. (I know too much about these people. But they are so delightful. I think S1 is on Netflix? If so, watch. It's the best lockdown show.)
