God yes, we're going to need it! Just seen the news about tier 4 (i.e. lockdown) for Essex, where I am. Happy Christmas!

I guess that almost an upside of living in The North - we've been Tier 3 since Tiers were introduced so Lockdown is basically the new normal...

Yeah, I guess that does help a bit. Levels were so very low here for so long, we kind of thought we were going to be okay. I mean, it doesn't affect me drastically as I hardly go out anyway since all my singing/dancing/acting activities were cut off in March, and we're in a care bubble with my parents as Dad is disabled so we can still see them as long as we're careful. But oh boy, I think we were all hoping for something a bit better for Christmas. :-(

Well I'm glad you're OK (or as OK as can be, and not having to cancel plans last minute).

I guess it's the sudden U-turn that's... difficult to swallow. But then they did exactly the same with Eid, so.
