I'm so tired of all the bad news and the storms and the damage and... everything. So here, have another Hepworth sculpture. Just because I love it. ♥ (It feels - tender. And I think we need tenderness.)

Oddly enough- there's a warmth in this sculpture, and that is a first for me- because I've never gotten that feeling before when looking at other sculptures.

Yes, that's very much why I went looking for it specifically. I was way too tired to try to explain last night, but she manages to capture something very precious in such simple forms. (It's not very large, here is a picture where you can see the scale.) It's oddly soft and intimate and I want to pick it up. <3
