Just a heads up on the womensart1 account - there are a number of issues with them including trans erasure and not seeking permission from living artists. womensart3 is an alternative.

Honestly how the Ed Minister is still in his job I have no idea!!!?!! I hope all those kids finally get the progression they want, but clearing is going to be a nightmare.

What boggles my mind is that these kids prepared for their exams in the middle of a pandemic. Every student should have just got straight As (or is it A* British education confuses me) because of the "unprecedented situation". And I mean did the Tories not see thier racist and classist algorithm getting called out for being racist and classist? Or did they just not care just think nobody would kick off?

Damn I want that art.

Re. grades, then A* is higher than an A - but it's very hard to attain. Like, you have to go above & beyond to get an A*.

That said, they're replacing all the grades. They've already done GCSEs. In short, the new A* is a 9. :)

ETA: Oh and the art is just stunning. The skill involved is just phenomenal.
