Lockdown Update Day 121
This is the best thing I have seen in a long time (apparently it's from a few years ago and not related to masks, but it goes for any issue):
~
I have no idea about this one, but it's a thing for sure.
A few articles:
In historic move, North Carolina city approves reparations for Black residents
London demands justice for Breonna Taylor in seventh week of BLM protests
The right are in power everywhere – but they can't stop playing the victim
~
And finally, today's art. Njideka Akunyili (Nigerian b.1983), "The Beautyful Ones Are Not Yet Born" Might Not Hold True..., 2013 (x)

(Also remember that some people are unable to wear masks, which makes it even more important for the rest of us!)That time when two 10 year olds just decided to destroy Andrew Neil on national TV pic.twitter.com/RltdRZ8iv9

And we had tickets for the Paralympics and were in THAT STADIUM and it was the most beautiful day of the whole summer.
I guess our trajectory is much like America's - from the heights of Obama to the dark depths of Trump.

:(
I remember at the end, when they took the Olympic flame away, I wanted to say "no, don't go!" Maybe it was a premonition.
Uh-huh. You reminded me of Quo Vadis (the book) - which I shan't spoil if you don't know it, but there is a moment at the end when people feel like everything good and beautiful is dying in front of their eyes.
