Update from The House of Plague, Day 94
So, I am nearing Day #100 of my updates and I am not sure whether to continue.
On the one hand it's quite nice to have a record of what happened in this crazy mad year, and (although I am constantly behind on replies) the posts themselves don't take up that much time tbh. I like collecting interesting stuff & sharing it, like some kind of online magpie. OTOH maybe people are tired of them?
Today's art is a picture I've had saved for ages, from way before I started posting daily art, because I came across it and just found it very beautiful. It's called 'Woman Sewing' and is by Bertha Wegmann who was a Danish portrait painter of German ancestry.

They sent e a message a few weeks ago to say they had reason to believe (i.e. they had just noticed) that my password was the same as my LJ one was one of the ones stolen some years before and so I would no longer be able to log in without a specific link, where I would have to enter my password to then change it.
Problem is that, to start with the page kept giving a 404, and then, as my passwords have not been the same for a long time because I change the LJ one regularly, I can't remember what my DW one was back when I created the account :(
One day I might try to get around it, but as I haven't used my DW account for years it is not a high priority!

Ah. OK, I can see why it's not that much of a worry, but annoying nonetheless. Good luck if you ever decide to tackle it...
