Vaughn Williams is probably my favourite composer.
♥ ♥ ♥ He is rapidly becoming mine too.

Would recommend his Thomas Tallis too, heck most of his works.
I was debating with myself whether to do The Lark Ascending, or Thomas Tallis!! And I am listening my way through everything atm. (Working from home I can listen to music and youtube threw Vaughan Williams at me one day and... that was it.)

And when this is all over and you get the chance to hear Lark Ascending in concert, you won't be sorry.
My 14 year old plays violin. I hinted that she should totally add it to her repertoire, but so far she's not done anything about it.

And I'd go H as I have a touch of G right now but I'd like the pool.
Sound choice.

If your 14yr old could play Lark Ascending that would be awesome but you'd all have to be the string orchestra backing her up!

Hmmm. She is the only violinist in the house, but we have a lot of other instruments. Could one use ukuleles/guitars instead? ;)
