I like all of those - especially Pingu because... Pingu!
His FACE! I can't stop laughing.

We still have a sense of normality/unreality because we are still, as far as we know, plague-free.
Pull up the drawbridge and cut off the mainland!

But everywhere is quieter than usual and we are doing some of the things the UK are starting this week as well, to be slightly ahead of the game.
Sensible planning? How un-British of you.

I am going out with my daughter's almost mother-in-law for lunch, and am still picking one ungrandchild up from school - but we are closing Church ufn as from today.
Glad you are getting on with the in-laws-to-be (my parents and Darcy's parents get on like a house on fire, and every time my parents visit they'll go for a 'grandparents' night out'. Which is lovely. :) And yeah, no church for us either. (Catholic here... And I don't know if I ever mentioned, but I am one of the catechists for the 'Children's Liturgy', so we are sort of colleagues.)

My daughter and her fiancé are still determined that they will get married in 9 days time come what may - I think only a declaration that all the registrars are being sent home, and no-one over the age of 30 is to be allowed outdoors, is going to stop them crawling to Castle Rushen next Saturday.
Good for them! Hope it's a lovely day, despite all the restrictions.
