Happy day... :)
Today is a good day! There a quite a few reasons for this...
First of all it's![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
molly_may's birthday! Hope you're having a *fabulous* day dear, my flist wouldn't be the same without you!
And on the RL front there is double happiness: The girls have gone to their grandparents' and are staying overnight! *dances* It's so quiet and I'm getting so much done! And also elder BIL is coming round tonight with his girlfriend E, and for once we might be able to have a nice grown-up dinner! (Of course The Cherub is still here, but babies really aren't as much bother in these circumstances). I've not mentioned E before, but she's a fairly recent development. BIL has been single for around 10 years now, after getting rather badly burned (metaphorically speaking) when at uni, and is not a very outgoing person, so we are all overjoyed! Esp. because E is an absolutely lovely person and very down to earth - exactly what he needs! And pretty too! The effect on him is quite something - he smiles a lot more, has started updating his wardrobe etc. We're all crossing our fingers like mad! :)
On the fandom front, I must single outbuttersideup in my praises for updating my website (147days)! I gave her this giant long list and she's done everything and more! *sends many hugs and much gratitude*
Also chapter 5 is going well - it'll need a lot more work still, but it's beginning to come together. (I can't believe how fast I'm writing this thing. It's scary!)
And to finish with a couple of recs:
stormwreath has very interesting thoughs on Season 4 - Adam and Restless in particular.
calove has written an utterly beautiful, heartbreaking and perfect S6 Spuffy ficlet - Hope. NC-17 and very hot, but because it's Buffy and Spike, the sex is only the top layer. Go see what lies underneath!
